This is a practice where the practitioner places various cups on the body.  Suction is created to draw the blood to the surface.  Cupping is a proven way to provide pain relief by softening the tissue with the applied pressure to the area of swelling, increasing the blood flow which will allow for essential nutrients and  oxygen to the tissue.  It will improve stagnation, removing dead cells, toxins, and debris.  This is a great way to treat swelling, chronic pain, inflammation, rheumatism, migraines, bronchitis, and even the common cold, stress, anxiety, and depression.  The most common reason for cupping is for pain relief.  Looks like a bruise, not a bruise.  The marks left from cupping may look like a bruise however there is no pain, there may be slight sensitivity.  The discoloration is from bringing the blood and toxins to the surface of the skin which is eventually flushed from the body.
